“But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all” Matthew 12:15 KJVS

I like the word ‘all’ – a simple three letter word using only two letters of the alphabet. A simple small word that means so much. I am thinking of the game charades which we play and when trying to guess the movie, book or song there is a sign you make for a small tiny word with your two fingers. All is a small tiny word used over 4500 times in the bible and 994 times in the New Testament, and every time it is used it means the same thing. All means every, everything and everyone in that group. According to the Oxford dictionary ‘all’ is used to refer to the whole quantity or extent of a particular group or thing, for example all the people.

The phrase ‘He healed them all’ is referred to during the ministry of Jesus around nine times. Jesus with the multitudes healing them all, all that came to him, all kind of sickness and disease. In Luke 6:19, we read that the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went power out of him, and healed them all. Jesus had the power to heal all people no matter what the condition was.

I want you to know that you also have this same healing power to be healed and to see other people healed no matter the condition. All it takes is you believing in the healing power of God and releasing that power through your words, that is the word of God in your mouth that promises you healing, in the name of Jesus and standing steadfast, immovable in your declaration of healing. In Acts 1:8 the bible says, ‘But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.’ In the original Greek translation the word power here is exactly the same as we saw in Jesus in Luke 6:19.

Paul told Timothy in one of his letters to stir up the faith which was in him. I am asking you to stir up the healing power that is in you. Pray and believe God that you are healed according to His word, and reach out to someone around you – tell them Jesus heals and pray for them in the name of Jesus believing in the same healing power that heals all people and all conditions. Matthew 4:23 says, ‘And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.’

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for your healing power in me. I see that there is no condition you cannot heal and I stir up my faith in you and in your word today believing you for complete and total healing in my body. As I pray right now I believe your healing power is working in me and by faith I thank you believing I have received my healing in Jesus Name.
