 In a world where there is sometimes pressure to always want more, more and more of everything it is important for you to know that God is enough. If you have God you have everything you need and there is nothing else, nothing more beyond God. God is enough, He is actually more than enough!

I love the word ‘all things’ because it encompasses everything and there is nothing else outside of all. All encompasses everything, and the word of God is bold in declaring that God owns all things, God can do all things, all things find their place in God, God is before all things, all things are held together in Him, and all things happen through Him and for Him. So there is nothing else outside of Him that you and I need! One of the all things can be found in 2 Peter 1:3 which says, “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and excellence,” God’s divine power has given you everything, and as you get to know Him more you discover that He is the source of everything you will ever need in this life and to serve Him. He has it all and he lavishly gives us all things because of His grace and love for you. Revelation 4:11 says, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You have created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.” What do you need today? His divine power has already provided it for you, so all you need to do is believe and receive it (Mark 11:24).

God is enough for you! It means being content in Him, trusting Him and allowing Him to lead you into all things. It means to stop struggling in yourself, to stop belittling yourself and instead resting in the knowledge and confidence that He has already laid out the most excellent path for you in this life.

2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “God is able to make all grace abound toward you, so that you, always having enough of everything, may abound to every good work.” Some people get hung up on knowing that God is able but think that He may not be willing. I assure you that God is willing, wanting and desiring to release all of His abilities in your life if you will believe. He loves you so much He sent His only begotten son to die for you and He is called ‘the God who richly gives us all things to enjoy’ in 1 Timothy 6:17. Grace is God’s willingness to use all of His power and abilities on your behalf even though you don’t deserve it. God is always willing!

So as I write this, I believe that in this new decade you will always have far more than enough of everything you need because of Gods power and grace that abounds towards you. God is more than enough, His grace is more than enough, His love is more than enough, His Spirit is more than enough, His power is more than enough and His life is more than enough.

If you have this, relax and be at peace because you have everything, you have all things!
